Went shopping with coach. Well, I was getting shoes for my bro. And I got keeper pants with padding. Anyways, I wasn't really good as keeper... Cos I don't use my hands... Multazam shot 2 low shots and I just try to block them with my legs... Obviously they went in... Here are some of the feed back luh. Make a list better.
Very stagnant ( Just standing there ) Never make myself big when one on one Never use hand to grab the ball Wait for the ball to row to me Never go for the crossing ball Crap goalkick Never dive for the ball Ball come to me, I kick away when I can pick the ball up
Well, I think I missed out some... But if I can work on these, I would be very happy. During training, I make a couple of saves... But I think they all shot at me... Like Pak's shot across goal, I palmed it away with one hand... It was quite a strong shot, but my hand did not break. A couple of shots were block cos I just move towards the attacker and he shot at me and the ball hit my legs... Then Pak's indirect free kick was tamed... But ya...
Then the match... Yes, those kids are back from last week. I did not have much to do really... Most shot misses... My defence were good... But when a shot came in, it was fast and I conceded... Feels like crap to concede... Another shot came, long range, on target but no power... I picked up that rolling ball... Well, that's about it... Good thing there is extra training on MONDAY!!! When I was sub out, I wanted to stay man! I want to play more!!! Anyways,We won 2-1... I wanna improve!

Ring Ding Dong!
This is a song I heard from one of the girls in class... I was like... Err... I wonder what they can come up with, considering the title is Ring Ding Dong.
So I searched for the video on Youtube. Its by SHINee... Sounds familiar but I gave the the song a try. At first I find the chorus very amusing... But the rest of the song is quite good. After a few repeats of the song... I learn to ignore the amusement of the chorus and slowing find it catchy... I keep 'RING DING DONG-ing' in school today...
I am by no means a fan of K/J pop... For one reason... I don't understand what they are singing. Anyways, here is the video.
I have to say, it is of very good quality.

Good Win... But Not Off The Hook....
WOHOOO!!! 2-0! To be honest, I was riding us off for this match... But, when I say Torres playing and Lucas and Mascherano are paired as Holding Midfielders... Things were looking up!
Torres and Ngog on the score sheet... Super tense match man... Cos we were on poor form... Manchester United were strong as always... But in the game, Lucas and Mascherano pairing worked out like last season.
I get really scared when ManU get free kicks... But without Ronaldo... Well, not very threatening... Well, I like the current formation.... But Rafa is sure to change it next week, cos Mascherano got a red card... This was the loudest I have ever screamed for a match... Or at least the loudest I can remember...
Well, this win means nothing if We do not pick it up... Lyon... Aresenal... Let's see how the games goes... Rafa has produced results under pressure... SO Ya... He isn't off the hook yet man... JERSEY TO SCHOOL TML!!!

Gloves,Boots and fingerguard! Becoming a Shot-Stopper!
Yeah! Got my new gloves,boots and finger guard!!! Wohoo! THanks to Sashi,Siva and Vicknesh for helping me out with picking out the stuff!!!
They have nothing to do and were nice enough to tag along with me luh! I am actually more sick really... After cookies from Subway... My sore throat was worst. But wtf, I am becoming a keeper man! Gotta get my gear!!!
So we meet at tampines mrt... We forgot how to get there! Got to Queenstown... Sashi said can take 145... The other 3 of us were like... Bus here arh... Take luh take luh... Without thinking... Went wrong place lor... We took another bus, luckily we got there! Shop shop shop!!! Looking around and stuff!
Found my glove first! A Lotto red glove. Nice fit with decent padding... Then got the fingerguard. Simple ones luh... THen boots. Well, I listen to the guys luh. Go for the cheap and good. A Topper Black boots! Cos they are more experienced and stuff man. Plus we got two keepers talking man. Sashi and Siva both are keepers man. I wanted a more stylish boot, but practicality is more important I guess. No use being nice and branded, but tear soon luh.
Anyways, Thanks guys! For coming with me on this hunt. Lots of super lame jokes and games also! Well, after we got the gloves, I saw this on my glove!!!

They Say You Gotta Be Mad To Be A Keeper... I ain't exactly sane...
Yup... Okok... I was sick today... But ya... I still went for training luh... Brought my DSLR along... But the main thing today... Some one challenged us for a friendly. A short one about 45 minutes. 10 on 10 I think...
They were training with their coach, then the coach ask for a friendly with us... They are like Sec 1 or 2? Around that age luh, but we cannot turn down a challenge if it comes knocking rite!? Well, they are really fast if you ask me. But we beat them 6-1... Well, kids. Nothing to be proud of...
I am training as keeper! Ya... I told Coach today. He was willing to training me. WHY I WANT TO BE KEEPER? Well, we need a back up keeper... Since Ben is gone... I just step up lor... Plus, I want to learn new stuff... How I will work out as a keeper is still unknown but I like a challenge! TML! Shopping For boots and Keeper Gear!!!

Me and My Big Mouth...
THere it goes again... MY mouth started another commotion... I seriously must stop making commotions...
I am not talking about half hearted players who play half heartedly or whatever. All I am saying is, I hope Soccer does not go to your head. How you play, whether you attend training not is totally up to you. Soccer's importance to each of us is different.
Some treat is as a past time. Some take it as a chance to hang with their friends. Some take it as a chance to get competitive matches and pit their skills with other people and probably improve over time. For me, to get active and learn something good. And of course to hang with the guys.
When I don't play well, I get really sad and quiet. Does that mean I care for the team? I always think 'if I play badly for the team, we are screwed sia...'
Yes, we are in division 13. But getting to division 1 should not be our goal. That would only drive your life to the ground... Cos it will take forever. Okok, that is a bit overboard. But it will take a really LONG time. Let's be a little Unrealistic, each year is 2 seasons. We would take 6 years to get division 1. I would be 24... Probably in UK studying or just came back...
A half hearted player might not play half heartedly. That is true. Cos he might not like to come training, but does not mean he would play badly. But if he don't come training, he won't get to play. HAHAHAS! Yes, just come training. Learn something, practise and stuff. If you don't like training, just take it as a opportunity to hang with the guys luh!
We are still friends man, should not let the team create gaps between us. Those who are really serious should not be upset by those who does not share the same strong passion or ambition as you. Those who are more leisure type should not feel pressured to come to training, come if you like, don't come also up to you. For me at least, we are all friends, no matter how we stand on this matter.

Putting our hopes in something...
This is obviously about the team... If it isn't, well now you know... Obviously we have our problems. Like lack of players and stuff... But I am just being rational here...
What is the purpose of the team? What is the purpose of joining a league? I seriously hope that the guys are not putting their hopes that we will make it big... Into a big club that is...
Yes, we train... Yes we learn from coach and all... We enjoy soccer and love hanging out with each other...
Being rational, we will win matches... We will lose matches... These are just part and parcel of soccer... But do you think we can make it to the 1st division? GEt paid playing soccer? MAke it to the national team? It would take at least 6 or 10 years? By then we are around 26? Family to support, girl friend to take care of, work?
I have to make it very clear, my commitment is still here. But my education would always come first... THen my family then soccer... I have plans of my own. Where to study, what to do in the future... For all I know, I won't be in Sg for at least a year, taking my degree in the UK or some other non-Asia country...
I really worry about those who have no plans whatsoever... Just drifting around and playing soccer... The worst is if they pin their hopes into the team... Please don't man... Soccer is fun and we love it and all. To support your family and to have a stable home... I doubt soccer is the solution... THis is not a ' I want to Quit post '. ITs more of a ' I hope you guys are not day-dreaming post '.

I don't have time for such stuff I guess... MY grades, the team, friends... I know this stuff, hear so many times someone miss training or street soccer to go out with gf... I don't want to have to answer to the guys...
I think the worst its I never nut up to talk to chio girls... I always say I am working on that... I really haven. hahahas! BUt ya... No rush luh... Plus, I gotta lose some weights... There aren't really going anywhere luh... Still in my belly...

407 Gathering plus a Late Clown...
This was yesterday luh... I was super tired after work arh... So ya... The day before, Jeevan woke me up from my sleep, to ask me to go pool with the 407s. I was ok with it luh, then he ask me bring m DSLR... SO I bring lor...
THen yesterday... I took the wrong bus which took me to Bedok lor... Anyways, got there! Late but we had to wait for a table... So ya... Sheikh,Azilla,Neroshaa,James and ME! O ya, I forgot Kah Beng. hahas! Ai ya, just some catching up and lots of laughing lor!!! Got table, play lor... JEevan was like ' I told Neroshaa I might not be coming... ' He was not coming lor!!

Alvin and Bernard are really fragile and hurt themselves easy... And Vicknesh is mostly a mid-fielder. I put him as a defender cos the blog says so... So we are really left with 4 defenders... We are really limited... To be really honest... If coach play Alvin or Bernard in a match and the get hurt early... He's gotta use up a substitution... New defender? Find one? Or two... I only can see coach use Farhan to play defence...
Anyways, Impulse is RECRUITING! A defender and A goalkeeper! IF you are interested, please do contact me or the guys! Come for training! No matter how bad you are, you can't be as bad as Me! So join us!!!

Happy Birthday Vicky! And Also To the October babies!
YEah! Training finished! Celebrated Vicky's Birthday today! Cake! Food! Song! Presents! And Friends! It was very fun cos we got like 20 plus people... Eating and chilling... Even Izzwan came! I hope he come for training soon!

Had a random dinner yesterday... I was at Sim Lim with my mother then my dad called to ask us to have dinner at Safra resort... That big one, near the airport...
I was Order boy!!! Order away! Shark fin! Crabs etc... Total is about 480 bucks for 8 person. Well, I have skills. hahahas! My dad hired a new designer! Forgot what her name was... Sad sia, cos we talk in chinese and singlish... She is from the philipines and cannot understand... O well...
THen we went to the pub... Had some vodka with everyone. 1 bottle of Absolute Vodka... $150!!! WTF!? But we got it anyways, my dad's friend was paying... hahahas! That guy was drunk... I don't understand what he is saying half the time... And he made me finish his Johnny Walker Black Label... Just a glass... It tasted ok at first... But it turn horrible after a few gulps... Well, could not finish it... O well, I was ok when I reach home. Just really sleepy... And my head was constricting... Hmm... I fell alseep straight away... hahas!

Enter Division 13... Good bye players...
Training today... Not alot of people came... Cos it was at 9am... I wasn't really able to wake up too... But I made it! I was atually playing Fifa 10 before training.
Anyways, we were talking about how to get more people to come for training... And we are going to register Division 13... Its time to get serious now. I totally agree that those who did not come for training for many times should be kicked out. What is the point of keeping them in the team if they never come...
Not sure what their reasons are, if they are valid then nevermind. But it is time to see people coming to training on time and regularly... If not, then Bye Bye! We are recruiting more players. Too bad I don't know any soccer players, or decent players. Except Yong Chian. But he live so far... I doubt he will join also...
Personally, I think Zul's friend 'Park' would be a good addition... But not sure if he is gonna commit to the team or not...

FIFA 10... Its MEh...
I gotten my Fifa 10... Well, it plays better than 09... That is all I can say I guess... I was on that game for 7 hours! Its addictive... I kick ass... I lost 2 match out of the many I played... Excluding the 3 games I lost when trying out the game... hahas!
I am playing Pro mode... Kicked assed... Lost to Chelsea once... And HULL... I trashed Manchester United 7-0... But ya, I am giving my 360 a rest, before I destroy more teams later. hahas!
Not sure I the guys are coming to my place for Fifa 10 and Watch game also... hmm...
