Blew It... How To Calculate CIA... Freedom is in Sight!
WARNING! NERD POST AHEAD!
CC paper down man! Okok... I am kicking myself for wasting lots of marks... Well, I have to score like 73? For the paper for a B+? I know A is not possible... I actually calculated marks lost! Very Nerd like, but My 360 is at stake!
Okok! MCQ: 2 marks SHort ans: 1.) 2 marks 2.) 0 marks 3.) 0 marks 4.) 5 marks Essay: 1.) 9 marks 2.) 5 marks Total Mark lost: 23! Add some more lost that I am unaware of... 28 lost... OMG... B? Fingers crossed for B+!
Good thing is my other weightage 4 module is Biostats which is A. I think. It evens out to B+. Hopefully. I'll be happy if I get a 3.5 average this term. My Biochemical techniques just edged for an B+, 75.2... And I calculated my CIA, 76.08... B+... Hopefully, my calculations are correct.
To be honest, I am happy with B+... Especially for Biochem and CIA... I failed CIA paper 1... So ya... And Biochem is freaking cocked up... But ya... I edged it... Anyways For those who want to calculate your CIA marks, if I have not calculated for you. Here is mine!

Yup... We lost... Torres got a goal but Gerrard gave away a penalty... And this is it... I just don't get the feel that we are gonna get back after the that 2 goals... ITs just not out nite... Team and Jersey Talk
Okok, onward to Impulse EFC team talk. I am putting this here and posting it now cos everyone is having exams and I don't want to start a useless discussion on the team site. So I am writing here. Initially, I hoped to preserve the current colour of Red and Black... Then I realised, if the opponent is red and black too le? Or Red... The every confusing rite? Well, then some other colour other than red then!
NO ORANGE! That one Confirm one. No on wants Sovereign FC's jersey colour. I cannot wear white... Make my curves super obvious... hahas! Anyways, I am don't care about brand luh. Got jersey, can wear, not irriting then I very happy le. hahas! OF course, if we get branded jerseys, I would be happier. But its ok, if its branded. ITs gonna cost us more. And I know not everyone can pay for the jersey.
Anyways, that one later. I am wanna comment on Siva's personal note on the blog. Higher Caliber teams? I think we need to re-think about that. Yes we do aim to be a competitive team. Professional... Not so. Professional = Being paid to play...
I say as long as we have opponents, play against them. For now at least. When we prove that we have the ability to surpass them. Then talk about higher caliber teams. David's team, Evolution United FC and some other teams came and asked for matches. It would be rude to turn them down plus, it would be good for players to 'get in the Groove'.
Its like pre-season or 2nd string games or whatever you want to call it. Its to let players get used to each other and let the coach decide better on changes and whatever. ITs like Liverpool V Singapore. Everyone on the team got to play and work together. I am sure when you play against higher caliber teams, they aren't gonna allow you to make 6 or subsitutions during the game. I am saying this cos I only played 1 match so far.
So from my POV, Yes to Higher Caliber Teams. But lets test the waters first.

Well, it was a win. I think Rafa took Siva's formation over mine. But ya. A handsome win it was.
Torres,Johnson,Kuyt and Ngog all scored! On a serious note, Johnson is a very good replacement for Arbeloa. Johnson is more attacking but both of them offer overlaps on the right and crosses too! But Johnson has the extra attacking intent. HE scored, which is good. I would be estatic if I scored on my second match of the season. hahas!
Anyways, it was a good win. Hope we can carry on from there. On a side note, Reira looks fit, he was on the bench. Maybe he can play during the next match... ITs Aston Villa... Who struggled in their opening match against Wigan. So it is a match that we can win!
So happy to wear the same Jersey number as Johnson! No 2! Hopefully, I get 2. hahahas! Vicky have not confirm I get No 2 or not... hahas!

Do I have to say more? We must win. This is so obvious. Stoke held us to a draw last season. So we gotta push harder... BUt looking at the squad we have now... I bare can make out a strong 1st, let alone the good bench... But I am gonna give my formation anyways...

This is probably the best 11 I can come up with. Mascherano play back abit, Benayoun play up abit. Benayoun plays in front of Mascherano. I think this should work fine.
The bench should include Ngog,Kelly,Ayala,Nemeth,Insua,skrtel,Voronin. I would start with a strong first time. Press on till like 70th minute before resting some of the 1st 11... IF we are like 2-0 up, then 65th min can start sub-ing already. NO SLEEP tonite!!!! Onward Liverpool! A Week Till Papers...
WOoo... Just finished Biostats paper... MCQ was horrible... I think the other 70% of paper... After the paper... I realised that we were suppose to write the workings for the paper... I was like WTF!? I did not... Ask long as i am prompt to, I do the workings... Hopefully, I get like 80%... hahas!

Forget about Titles... Start Gel-ing Then Say...
We lost... Sadded... Tottenham 2 - Liverpool 1... POOR POOR POOR... Should have been 2-0... If not for that Penalty... Looking at our first game... We were Poor... Cannot Gel... SERIOUSLY MISSING ALONSO... We were poor...
Looking ahead in the season... I think its a lets gel together season... It should be... This is a clearly weaker squad than last year. I'll be grateful if we stay in the top 4... Anyways, Aquilani isn't fit yet... He might be the missing link... Babel is still poor at the wings... I think he should not play Wing luh! He can be a partnering striker with Torres! Benayoun should play WING!!! HE is good, can cut in! But really, we are short of good players man... Okok... I think Kelly and Ayala are young and should get time to play. I think in the long term, Kelly,Ngog,Ayala and some of the young players would become better over the next 3 seasons. THen they would be good.

Post Match No:1...
Ya... Its post match... Really disappointed... My performance... We won... I left the game feeling abit sad... Siva said it was 3... So I was there... We had so much free time lo... Kicking the ball around lor...
Anyways, the match... Is a little unfair... Cos its like 16 against 12... Coach want everyone to play... So we got more sub than them... Anyways, I played like crap... Even that Uncle got pass me like nobody's business... Thank God Siva is there to cover my Ass man... The rest of the team have to cover for me... OVERALL during the mtach, I am happy that we keep the opponents from a direct shot at goal...( Hafiz claim to have 2 direct shots! Ok, credits to the opponent! They scored twice! ) Not sure how the score the 2 goals cos it was at the other side of goal and I was slacking already... Cos I was subed out... Ya... I got subed out after 20 mins.... But ya... During my time in the match... Farhan scored! Sweet! Then Ming Sheng come in for me... Vikesh played for us!!!
I should have voice out... I play Left Back... Not right... I have to respect Coach's decision... I still prefer Left though...
Anyways, the final score line Impulse EFC 3 - Hafiz's White Team 2.... Sorry, I don't remember what Hafiz's team is...They are really friendly and have sportmanship. Although Coach don't want us to play with them again. I don't mind, as long as they get 15 players, then things would be more fair and Coach would be ok with it... He wasn't happy cos Hafiz's team only had 12 players... hahas! Anyways, I wanna correct Vikesh's name! hahas! Ya... I spelt it as Vickesh... hahas! Anyways, no soccer till September 1st!!!

Its All In The Team
Ya... I guess our team has all it takes to do well. We are not the sharpest of players but the components are there. No, I am not boot licking... Playing defence, you tend to pay attention to how the attackers play.
We have excellent Mid field, that I have no doubt about it. Zul, Louis and Multazam can whip in very good crosses. Then the centre is very well fitted with Vicky, An Wei and Haja play well. I think Vicky has the sight, he was dictating the play by choosing left,centre or right to play... If we play like how we practiced on Wed, tomorrow's match should be a breeze... Of course, I am not sure Vickesh is playing for us or not... But ya... If he does join us, it would be good. He communicates well with the team, excellent player.
Defensively, its up to coach to decide. Farhan would do very well covering the left. I am just there chasing balls... If Farhan plays left back, who is going to play striker sia!? Jason? If he comes then good luh. Then who else... Striker role is really vacant now... Considering players with decent finish is Jason and An Wei and that's about it... Groom one? Get one?
I am also looking forward to the Jersey... For one thing... The colour... Hope it isn't orange... I don't want to be like Sovereign... If we do keep our original Red and black would be awesome! Just so you know, I don't have a team jersey... No 2!!! Vicky have not confirmed that if I got that number or not... But I am ok with 2!!! Maybe during the Holidays, we can start working on the team badge and vision and motto and stuff... Since we have been solid for about 2 months now. That's for later I guess. But since its the holidays, most of us would have time to work on these stuff.
Anyways, tomorrow's match would be the last of soccer until September I guess. I am happy that Coach is grade conscious... He is stopping training cos he knows that we are having exams... Claps For Coach!

Week round up! After Training!!!
Okok, rounding up the week! Had biochem test which was like... OK... 70/100... Now I need like 86% for my practical to get a B+... FINGERS CROSS! Basic immunology practical test was err... easy? I am not sure luh...

Ya... Okok, my body was still sore... I woke up at 11... I practised Biostats and did PBL today... Hmm... Then I was decided, I should go practise, it was 5 pm and I haven bathe all day... So better to bathe sweaty and make full use of the water rite?

Its was ok... Muscles are stretched... I think I kinda made them worst... I was practising vollys, one shot went rocketing up! Hit the lamp! It kind hit the holder and the lamp came off! And... PIANG!!! Shattered into thousands of pieces! I was like ' Woah! Cool! ' Then ' OMG... ' Then ' NVM... ' I continued practising. hahas!
Its was good... But I don't think I will attend WEd's training... I got my Biochem paper on Thurs...

What Do I Want...
This is one of those times that someone asked me a question that totally stun me... And it sets me thinking... The last time was Jeevan if my memory serve me well... Anyways...
This was a question Farhan asked me after training... I realised I could not answer... What do I want from the team... What position do I want to play... I don't have an answer... He also said that I am not the soccer type... Which I find really true... I am soft... I am slow... I lack stamina... I can't dribble,tackle,cross or shoot...
Then I beeg thinking about it... When I started playing soccer, people ask me to play where... I just play... Where got empty position... I play... Street soccer and field is the same... Yes, I enjoy soccer... Maybe for the wrong reasons... Not playing soccer... But to spend time with my friends...
Put today's scolding by coach aside, that actually made me worked harder... Put how badly I played today aside... Yes, I want to train to get better and I love training but is that going to lead to what I want? I just want to focus on what I want from the team... I can only think of spending time with my friends... If so... Then there is no point staying, cos the team is serious... The team wants to win and move forward from there...
What I want and what the team is aiming for is totally different... I stay or not isn't going to affect the team... Its my choice cos there isn't and burden to bare if I leave... The team isn't going to play worst if I leave, in fact they would play better... If I do stay, I have the burden of the commitment to the team which in the end, will not benefit me... If I leave, I can focus on my studies and my family. I don't want to sacrifice my time with my family on something that isn't going to yield anything... Ya, spending time with friends don't have to be soccer... There are other stuff we can do...
It is my decision... If I stop now, I can focus on my Biochem and stuff... I don't want to waste any more time... The team won't have the pressure of playing a player who cannot play...
